The Chairman of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, received H.E. Deni Lisman, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, and his accompanying delegation today at the Chamber’s headquarters to discuss opportunities for strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.

The meeting was attended by several members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and H.E. Sultan Juma Al Hindasi, Director General of the Chamber.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the growing trade relations between the UAE and Indonesia and highlighted investment opportunities across various vital sectors, particularly industry, logistics, and food security.

The Fujairah Chamber reaffirmed its commitment to providing all necessary facilities and support to Indonesian businessmen and investors interested in establishing projects in Fujairah and benefiting from the emirate’s strategic location and advanced infrastructure, which position it as an important commercial gateway in the region.

H.E. Sultan Juma Al Hindasi highlighted the significant growth in economic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Indonesia, noting that bilateral trade reached AED 23.5 billion in 2025.

For his part, H.E. Deni Lisman, Consul General of Indonesia, praised the significant developmental and economic growth witnessed by the Emirate of Fujairah. He affirmed the interest of Indonesian companies in expanding their business partnerships and exploring new avenues for cooperation that serve the mutual interests of the two friendly countries.

The Indonesian Consul General also extended an official invitation to the Fujairah Chamber to attend the trade exhibition to be held in Indonesia, which aims to open new avenues for partnerships and introduce the UAE business community to the latest promising Indonesian products and industries.
